|Has note=Built on PXL's state-of-the-art platform VX, a proprietary web - based 3D event platform, PXL was proud to partner with Arizona State University in creating the ASU Virtual Campus.

The ASU Virtual Campus made its debut with a series of events honoring the Class of 2021, including the Veterans Honor Stole Ceremony and Ira A. Fulton Schools of Engineering Convocation. The Veterans Honor Stole Ceremony on May 1st, presented by the Pat Tillman Veterans Center and ASU Alumni Association, recognized over 100 graduating student veterans representing the US Army, US Navy, US AirForce, Marines, and USCG for their military service and academic accomplishments. The Ira A. Fulton Schools of Engineering Convocation on May 3rd was attended by several thousand graduates and guests, and included many of the school's graduation traditions.

At both events, attendees were able to create their own personal avatars and socialize with other event attendees using proximity audio, video calls, and custom ASU emojis during a reception prior to the ceremony. A few minutes before the ceremony was set to begin, attendees were automatically transported to a virtual recreation of Sun Devil Stadium where they watched a live-streamed video of speeches from the President of the University and other distinguished guests. When it came time for the graduates’ names to be read, each graduate and their guests saw a personalized video featuring the graduate's name, photo, and message. And at the conclusion of the event, attendees were able to take a photo in front of a backdrop of the campus as a personal digital takeaway.

Once all was said and done, the events were huge successes, with ASU, the graduates, and their guests overwhelmingly enjoying the experience, and many comments on how much more engaging the ceremonies were then most other virtual events attended over the past year. Following this triumphant debut, ASU plans to continue to use the Virtual Campus for many more events in the future, including future commencement ceremonies for the thousands of students and family members that live out-of-state or are otherwise unable to travel to an in-person ceremony.
